Flex Family Highlight | Meet Patti Tonks

We are excited to welcome Patti Tonks to the Indeflex family as our newest edition to the recruitment team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Indeflex, Patti’s role is to meet and greet our Sales Partner applicants and take them to the next level of becoming a Sales Partner. Patti is an experienced recruiter, having spent 15 years at Career Systems International (now Talent Dimensions) working with HR executives at Fortune 500 companies globally in the areas of employee retention, engagement, workplace satisfaction, and career development as Vice President of Client Success. In that role, Patti managed the deployment of all consultants, program materials, and schedules. She was also the company’s CRM administrator and handled pricing and proposals, internal processes, and onboarding. She is excited to put all this experience to work at Indeflex!


Patti is excited to work for Indeflex because she likes being one of the first people our future Sales Partners meet. Patti says, “As someone who loves to meet new people as often as possible, this role suits me perfectly!”

  • Patti’s greatest role in life is as a mother to her three fabulous children (and her new daughter-in-law) and two terrific step-sons.

Mike Gramz leads all risk management functions at Yapstone which is focused on providing partners with world class Marketplace Trust and Safety solutions. Mike is a payments industry veteran who has spent much of his career focused on compliance and regulatory policy, PCI, credit, fraud, loss provisioning and loan loss reserves, and data security. He has over 27-years of financial services experience at FinTech companies including Merchant e-Solutions (a Cielo company) as Chief Risk Officer and Board Director, and 17 of those years at Bank of America where he was Chief Risk Officer for Bank of America Merchant Services (BAMS) and a key strategic contributor in the formation of the acquiring joint venture with KKR and First Data Corporation. As a risk executive for Bank of America, over the years he was also responsible for Global Corporate Banking product risk, oversaw card brand acquiring relationships, led Global Treasury Services compliance, and was accountable for all consumer and corporate compliance functions in Canada and Latin America including businesses in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Mexico.

Introducing Autobahn Money for Indeflex Agents

Our CTO Jason Konrad has been hard at work on a custom portal called Autobahn Money, that allows all Indeflex agents to seamlessly view and track commissions at-a-glance. This is not a drill! This new portal is rolling out this week and next, so let’s dive in to learn more. Agents should watch for their welcome email to the portal any day now!

First of all, Autobahn is the business management tool all Indeflex agents use to submit tickets, turn in and track applications, run reports, track leads, etc. The list goes on and on of all the cool custom features Autobahn offers. This new feature is a specific functionality that agents have been asking for that allows them to view their pending, paid, balance owned, and residual statuses from the one portal. Here’s a snap shot of how it looks.

This new portal shows agents their payment history, and most importantly, it gives crystal clear visibility into the payout process and which accounts have been paid, which have not, and why.

When agents login they will see:

· Pending – From approval bonuses or other bonuses

· Paid – Accounts already paid to you

· Balance – Agents can track their advances and other balances

· Residuals – As our agent’s book of business grows, this tab will show their ‘hands-off’ earnings – the residual income agents earn every day, all year long on previously sold accounts.

There is also a section that shows a full history of all the accounts an agent has sold. It looks like this:

This history section shows approvals, bonuses, activation statuses, and applications that are pending to give agents a full view of their book of business at any given time.

“I built this with our agent’s convenience in mind. They all need a way to easily see their earnings and what accounts need follow-up or are pending for some reason. This gives them all the information they need in a simple format right inside Autobahn,” said Jason Konrad, CTO at Indeflex.

Once each agent’s account has been created, a welcome email will be sent out. When logging into the Autobahn Money portal you’ll navigate to the ‘Money’ tab along the top navigation bar and drop down to the section you want to see first. It’s that simple!

Flex Family Highlight | Meet Nick Siemer

Nick plays an important role for Indeflex as our Partner Relationship Lead out of our St. Augustine, FL office. Nick has 8-years of banking experience specializing in coaching and developing client-facing agents who work to help businesses reduce overhead by cutting costs on payment processing. Most recently, Nick was a Financial Relationship Consultant Team Leader at Regions Bank, where he was responsible for individual and team goals, and coaching a team of client-facing bankers to determine their needs and help them proactively meet their banking and financial goals.

Before Regions Bank, Nick led North Florida in merchant services account origination referrals for Wells Fargo in 2015. And prior, Nick worked with Ameris Bank, where he partnered with First Data reps to expand their merchant services business in Jacksonville, FL.

Nick was excited to join Indeflex because he has a passion for helping small businesses succeed and enjoys supporting our agents who are working directly with merchants nationwide as they build their business portfolios. Nick says, “I love the problem-solving aspect of my role as well as the daily interaction with our agents. I wanted to join the team for the opportunity to work with some of my best friends, but also for the opportunity to learn and grow with an organization that has so much growth potential.”

  • Nick is a huge race fan and usually tries to go to a few races every year.
  • He loves going to live sporting events.

Flex Family Highlight | Quintin Krivacek

Quintin is the glue here at Indeflex corporate. Working out of our St. Augustine, FL office, Quintin has his hands on the pulse of everything we do at Indeflex. As our Operations Manager, Quintin (nickname Q) helps Indeflex run like a well-oiled machine. Quintin is excited by the Indeflex business model, which focuses on making the agent’s job as easy as possible by arming them with all the tools they will need to cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with merchants. His operations responsibilities include maintaining the technology solutions agents use to process applications and serve merchants. Quintin believes the tools Indeflex is deploying have unparalleled functionality in the industry. “I love being there for our partners, and freeing them up to do what they do best; work with clients. That’s what makes my job so fun!”

Quintin launched his career in merchant services with Bank of America as a Small Business Solutions Consultant after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising from the University of Florida. While at Bank of America, Quintin specialized in Clover for restaurants and retailers. After selling direct to merchants for several years, he transitioned into financial planning and has worked in risk and wealth management for New York Life for several years.

Fun facts about Q:

  1. He has a dog named Greg.
  2. He loves to cook, especially BBQ.
  3. He and his girlfriend Stephanie love to travel.
  4. He is obsessed with motorsports (Formula 1, NASCAR, endurance racing, etc.).
  5. He is fascinated with astrophysics and astronomy.

Indeflex Expands into Bigger Office Space on the West Coast

We are growing! Rapidly! And to make room for new flex family team members, we just moved into a brand-new office space located in the Petaluma Marina Business Center, right alongside the beautiful Petaluma River. So now, in addition to our St. Augustine, FL location, we have a great office for our West Coast team as well! The new space offers room to add up to a dozen additional employees at this location and offers convenience for our nationwide sales team to come visit as it is easily accessed from Highway 101. It is also located right next door to the Sheraton hotel, which offers great accommodations and top-notch restaurants. This new office location has a wall of windows along the southern edge of the building that brings a lot of energy and natural light into the space so the team is very excited!

Flex Family Highlight | Meet Blaine Krivacek

As Head of Product for Indeflex, Blaine works closely with all lines of business and drives the planning process for product strategy and alignment here at Indeflex. Blaine’s background ranges from partner management, training and development, and product in the payments industry at companies like First Data and TSYS, and most recently with the healthcare information network Availity. He joined Indeflex for the opportunity to work in an environment where he can have a real impact on the individuals he supports.  

Blaine said, “I have a desire to help people succeed, which is why I joined Indeflex. I believe that providing folks with the right tools and knowledge is the key to success. My favorite thing about Indeflex is our ethos; we all truly believe in the power of trust and accountability. We will do whatever it takes to make our partners succeed.” 

Blaine has a BA in Public Relations from the University of Florida, and lives in Jacksonville, FL with his wife and two dogs. He enjoys motor racing, as well as traveling and gardening.

Meet the Team: Highlight Karina Mira and Tori Karkkanen

As our merchant account portfolio and processing volume grow, so is our team! One such important team member is Karina Mira, our front line Senior Sales Coordinator. Karina started with Indeflex even before we launched in September of 2019 and handles SRA’s for agents and trains all our sales partners on the important Autobahn system to help them run their business and submit deals efficiently. She also scrubs and submits applications, provides pricing, does statement analysis, and more! She is the lifeline our sales partners know and love. Karina has 3 beautiful kids with her husband Luis. Her children, Andre, Mateo, and Lily keep her very busy with soccer games, birthday parties, play dates, and school. Her kind and nurturing personality extends beyond family and is an integral part of her business philosophy. Karina said, “If you do business with us, you’re family too- and I take care of my family! I have a very caring, nurturing, and outgoing person and I always strive to be fair and honest.”

Karina says, “I love my job! I love to laugh, joke, and work hard for our sales partners who are always so lovely and appreciative of the support I provide.” Thank you, Karina, for all that you do!

The other team member we want you to get to know a little better is our new Technical Support Specialist, Tori Karkkanen. Tori supports our team with technical support and has expertise across all the product lines we sell (which there are several). Not only is Tori exceptionally tech-savvy, but he is also a patient, helpful resource for all our sales partners’ technology-related questions and concerns in the field. Tori has 15-years of tech support experience and previously worked for TSYS in customer service and agent support.

Tory had previously worked with Indeflex’s Managing Partner Paul Dobson at Central Payment, and TSYS from 2006 to 2019. After meeting with Paul and getting to know how Indeflex works, he was impressed and ready to sign onto the team. Tori says, “Paul’s energy, his focus, and the groundwork he had laid out for Indeflex was a huge reason I came over. All the support I’ve received from the entire Indeflex family has been awesome, something I was missing at TSYS.”

Personally, Tori and his wife Adriana have a beautiful four-year-old daughter named Katja who keeps them constantly busy.  In his free time, he enjoys playing pool at a local hangout and eating his wife’s delicious cooking!

Indeflex Welcomes New Sales Director Jared Hackler

The Indeflex family is growing rapidly and we are excited to share the addition of our new Sales Director, Jared Hackler. Jared will join our West coast office and will be instrumental in developing our sales partners. Jared has owned and operated three businesses in the advertising and merchant service industries since age 21. Before joining Indeflex, Jared held the position of CEO and Executive Sales Director at Echo Daily Inc., a business development and marketing company that he launched in 2010. Since founding the company with four employees, Jared grew Echo Daily into an organization that was valued by Bruce Thee and Associates at over $3.5M, and employs hundreds of sales and support personnel. Jared developed the business with the primary objective of aligning his company’s interests directly with his clients’ goals and he began offering mutually profitable products and services that improved the performance of his clients’ businesses.

As the new Sales Director at Indeflex, Jared will focus on hiring, recruiting, and training new sales partners nationwide. Additionally, he will provide day-to-day support for our sales partners and may also host some of our weekly MindFlex webinars to share valuable insights and inspiration.

Before joining Echo Daily and Indeflex, Jared maintained Access Fleet Inc. as the Vice President and Executive Sales Director between 2007 and 2011. Other professional positions also include serving as Sales Director at Central Payment Corporation and Petroleum Card Services, and as Marketing Director at a skateboard equipment and apparel shop. Mr. Hackler has lived in Gardnerville, Lake Tahoe, Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Hawaii.

Flex Family Highlight | Meet Aaron Neuhaus

Aaron Neuhaus is an energetic Sales Director out of our West Coast office in Petaluma, CA. Aaron started his sales career at the tender age 11 selling newspaper subscriptions in an outside sales position. Aaron jokes, “While some would consider this a borderline child labor law violation, it taught me the basics of sales, specifically outside sales, from a very early age.” Aaron entered the world of credit card processing in 2006 at Central Payment. After quickly working his way through the organization, he was a Sales Director for many years until he was ultimately promoted to manage all of the company’s new agents. “I oversaw a number of Sales Directors helping new agents write their first merchant account in this industry. Starting with Indeflex in November of 2019, I am bringing all my industry experience and pricing knowledge with me! Finally, given the tools and flexibility I need to appropriately support my agents, as well as a DREAM TEAM of peers and coworkers, I am looking forward to what the future has in store for all our Indeflex partners as well as myself!” 

Personally, Aaron and his beautiful wife Vanessa have been together for almost a decade, and have been married for 2-years now. Together they have a family of furry friends including Sasha who is a black lab/pit bull mix who is only 9-months old and still growing! They also have a cat named Neige and a 6-year old cockatiel named Spike who reportedly has “…the disposition of a child the same age.” Also fun to note, the family struggles more with the dog trying to eat the bird than the cat. They are basically best friends and he even stands on top of her and will sing songs to her!
